Immediate Implant

If a dental implant is placed immediately after the tooth is pulled, then this is called immediate implantation. As a rule, such implants take a little longer to heal, but you save yourself a second surgery. We have been doing this for 20 years, if the case allows.

Immediate Exposure

If the dental implant is exposed to full chewing forces immediately after implantation, then this is called immediate loading. Often implants are allowed to heal for 2-3 months before being exposed to chewing forces. Immediate exposure is possible under optimal conditions, and we have been successful in these treatments for more than 20 years.

All on 4

You can attach 12 teeth to an empty jaw on 4 dental implants – we have been providing such restorations for 20 years. In dental jargon, this type of care is called all on 4.

Die-cutting instead of cutting

For more than 20 years, we have successfully taken the minimally invasive route during implantation, we die-cut. This will save you suture removals, unnecessary soreness and swelling. The implantation is therefore no longer a major OP and usually done in 5 minutes.

Navigated Implantation

Since 2010, we have been experimenting with navigated implantation, today the technology has been researched, and we are able to implant cases that were regarded as futile just a few years ago. We have been utilizing this method since it was introduced, so today we can place your dental implant with an accuracy of 1/10mm.

Dental implant providers

We either work with the largest dental implant supplier, or with companies that have been successful on the market for a long time. We work with ICX and Bicon implants, but we can use any other implant which you request.

Operation Room Dentist Wien

In-House Operation

An implantation is a small operation, but an operation never the less. All our jaw surgeries, including dental implantation, are done in our own operation room. A separate operating room is only worthwhile if you have appropriate case numbers. We have them, thanks to your trust, and we have been able to build this dental practice according to the latest guidelines. This allows us to better implement hygiene guidelines and for you, this means more safety, shorter treatment times and better results.

How long do dental implants last?

The scientific community can now look back on 30 years of well documented implantology. According to current knowledge, implants last for a lifetime.

to little bone

Again and again, people are unsure that they have too little or even bad bones for implantation. Anyone who wants to be implanted today may need to do a small bone augmentation surgery. Thanks to short implants and navigated implantation, this is no longer necessary in many cases.

What is the best implant system?

In general, it can be said that the systems on the market for bone healing have little difference. Although the implant manufacturers advertise with unusual surfaces that are supposed to achieve even faster bone healing, this difference can not be proven in practice or in studies. What is important in dental implants can be found here in a video!

How many implants do I need?

I want fixed dentures and no teeth anymore, how many implants do I need? With edentulous jaws 4 implants in the lower jaw and in the upper jaw are sufficient for a fixed denture with 12 teeth. For larger individuals or for crunchers (people who grind their jaws or press their jaws together), you may want to have more dental implants.

Dental implants and flying

Can I fly with dental implants? Many patients believe that passage through the metal detector is no longer possible due to the titanium implants. First of all, there is no alarm from the titan in the body, but even if such devices were to come on the market, you can easily explain the alarm thanks to Implant Pass.

Will I be able to tolerate my implant?

Implantation has become a common part of dental surgery. Despite tremendous developments, some patients are unsure because they have read or heard about “intolerancies” in titanium tooth implants. In scientific literature, no intolerance reactions are described against titanium, although some patients do lose the implant. If an implant does not heal and needs to be removed later, it is disappointing, but rare. Also, this does not lead to any significant physical damage, since the resulting bone defect is closed by new bone formation. A new implantation is, if desired, usually possible.
